Frank Dabell, the Hinchley Wood Residents Association
candidate, has been elected as a Councillor for the
Hinchley Wood
ward, polling 1843 votes against 750 for the Conservative candidate.


Frank would like to thank:
- all of the voters of Hinchley Wood for their
support last Thursday which has enabled him to succeed Jack Mulder as a
Hinchley Wood representative on Elmbridge Council. The level of support
was beyond our best expectations;
- the membership of HWRA who make all our activities
possible;
- the Road Representatives for their efforts in
distributing our election information;
- the HWRA Chair and Committee for all their support
and effort in preparing for last Thursday;
- special thanks to Councillors Janet Turner and
Jack Mulder who provided the foundation for HWRA's ongoing success in
Elmbridge elections.
Across the Borough, the Conservatives gained one
seat (from St. George’s Hill independents) and retain control of the
Council, whose composition is now as follows:

Frank will work on behalf of local residents to:
• ensure cost effective delivery of services
• support planning applications with beneficial
attributes
• reduce the impact of detrimental planning applications
• maintain Hinchley Wood as a viable shopping
